What's New for the 2022 RAM 1500?

Ram has taken advantage of the 2022 model year by providing consumers with more features than ever before in a pickup. The 2022 Ram 1500 now includes a G/T package for the Rebel and Laramie trim levels, including a different exhaust system, cold-air intake, and updated paddle shifters. Ram has also included the BackCountry Edition for more rugged inclusions for the Lone Star and Big Horn models. A Limited option is added for the Ram's 10th anniversary, which features a new Blue Shade hue and unique badging.

2022 RAM 1500 Trims & Features

There are eight impressive trim levels to choose from if you're interested in the 2022 version of the Ram 1500. You can start with the affordable Tradesman trim level, followed by the HFE, Lone Star, Big Horn, Laramie, Rebel, Longhorn, and Limited. We recommend the Rebel trim level thanks to its middle-of-the-road affordability with plenty of standard features. You can choose the crew cab feature with a four-wheel drive, and upgrading to the V8 engine gives you plenty of power for all of your adventures. If you opt for the air suspension, you'll get a bit more in the way of ride height. If you add the Safety and Convenience package to any of the trim levels, you'll get additional features to help keep you safe, like adaptive cruise control, automatic high beam technology, and lane-keep assist technology.

2022 RAM 1500 Horsepower

With so many different trim levels to choose from, there is a lot to consider when it comes to power and performance. You can opt for either a V6 or V8 gasoline configuration with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Both options come with a 48-volt hybrid system. There is also a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine that you can choose if you'd like to forgo the hybrid support system. The rear suspension features standard coil springs or air springs.

2022 RAM 1500 Safety

The primary safety inclusions are minimal for the 2022 Ram 1500, but plenty is available if you're interested in adding something on. You can opt for blind-spot monitoring technology and rear cross-traffic alerts to stay aware of what's around you, automatic high beam headlights for better visibility, and available adaptive cruise control.
