What's New For the 2021 Ram 1500?
The 2021 RAM 1500 is a leader in its class of large trucks. The 1500 adds some updates and improvements in 2021 to stand out even more, ranging from getting a more powerful engine to adding more trailer safety technology. The latest RAM 1500 also improves upon its existing technology by adding a head-up display. The RAM 1500 is essentially a new design of the RAM 1500 Classic, which is still available. The RAM 1500 Classic is a heavier version of the RAM 1500, and it has a more basic design. The RAM 1500 Classic carries over essentially the same this year with a lineup of three trims to choose from.
2021 RAM 1500 Comes With an Amazing Array of Features
There are eight trims available for the 2021 RAM 1500 and three for the Classic. The first in the 1500 lineup is the Tradesman, featuring a functional interior with a five-inch infotainment screen, a six-speaker sound system, and air conditioning. It also has 18-inch wheels. The Big Horn and Lone Star, which are both variants, add fog lights and aluminum wheels. There are a few more options available with these trims, including a larger 8.4-inch or 12-inch display. The Rebel trim that comes next has LED exterior lights, hill descent control, and unique styling.
The Laramie has leather seats, power windows, and a standard 8.4-inch infotainment screen. The Longhorn adds side steps and navigation, while the Limited trim has a 12-inch display and wireless charging. The Classic begins with the Tradesman, which has manual AC, dual USB ports, and vinyl floors. The Express has 17-inch wheels and carpeted floors. With the Warlock comes LED fog lights, 20-inch alloy wheels, and a five-inch display.

The first engine offered for the RAM 1500 is a V6 that offers 305 HP. The next engine, a 5.7L V8, cranks out 395 HP. A diesel engine capable of 260 HP and a V8 for the TRX delivers 702 HP. The Classic has a base engine that produces 305 HP or a more powerful V8 that generates nearly 400 HP. Four-wheel drive is optional.
