What's New for the 2022 Dodge Durango?

For the 2022 model year, blind-spot monitoring and third-row seating are now standard throughout the lineup. Meanwhile, trims outfitted with Dodge's popular Blacktop package receive an SRT performance hood and all-season tires.

2022 Trims & Features

With last year's supercharged SRT Hellcat model being discontinued, Durango fans now have seven trims to choose from. Newly standard equipment makes the entry-level Durango SXT an even stronger value than before. Its easy-to-use Uconnect infotainment system features an 8.4-inch touchscreen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Other highlights include proximity keyless entry, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and tri-zone automatic climate control.

Larger 20-inch alloy wheels and a dual exhaust help give the Durango GT and GT Plus a more powerful look. Additional niceties consist of heated front seats, a power liftgate, and a remote start.

Drivers seeking more luxury and performance can step up to the V8-powered Durango R/T or R/T Plus. Its upgraded infotainment system features a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone pairing and navigation. Leather upholstery gives the interior a high-end feel. A nine-speaker premium audio system and wireless charging are also found on the Durango R/T.

The Citadel trim is even more upscale. It brings a sunroof, ventilated front seats, and second-row captain's chairs.

Atop the range sits the high-performance Durango SRT 392. Aside from packing an even more potent Hemi V8 engine, this trim also adds an adaptive suspension and race-inspired Brembo brakes. All-wheel drive comes standard.

An even more exciting 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine comes equipped on the electrifying SRT 392 trim. With an estimated 0-60 mph time of 4.5 seconds, the Durango SRT 392 can deliver a serious adrenaline rush. Not only is this SUV engaging to drive, but it can also tow up to 8,700 pounds.
