The rugged Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk is one of the automaker’s newest additions to the Jeep lineup; one that has been excitedly anticipated for the last year since it was first announced.

Debuting last month at the New York Auto Show, the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk features Jeep’s Quadra-Drive II four-wheel-drive system, a black hood decal, red tow hooks, skid plates and a revised air suspension. Drivers will also see a slightly different front fascia, as well as 18- or 20-inch available wheels.
"With our new Trailhawk and Summit models, Jeep Grand Cherokee becomes even more capable and more luxurious," said Mike Manley, Head of Jeep Brand – FCA Global. "Our Cherokee and Renegade Trailhawk models are among our fastest selling and most sought-after models, and we are following that successful formula to provide consumers even more legendary Jeep 4x4 capability for Grand Cherokee – the most awarded SUV ever.”

As Manley mentioned, the Summit model is also a terrific new option on the Grand Cherokee, giving it slightly more luxurious features, including 20-inch polished wheels, a full-wrap Laguna leather interior and LED foglights, just to name a few.
According to the automaker, both the Trailhawk and Summit models will come with three distinct engine options, such as a 3.6-liter V6, a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 and a 5.7-liter Hemi V8.
