Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram Vehicle Service Warning Indicators
When a warning light appears on your dash, it's essential to know what is the cause for that alert. Here are some common indicators that you should be aware of if you are notified of a specific warning.

Airbag Fault
When an issue has been detected in the supplemental restraint system, this warning sign will illuminate. It's highly recommended that you have your airbags professionally inspected and/or repaired.

Low Fuel Level Warning Light
Much like its name suggests, this warning light is telling you that your fuel is running low. You should put more gas in your vehicle as soon as possible.

Oil Pressure Warning Light
If your oil pressure is low, this symbol will show on your dash. Check the oil level immediately to ensure that your car is safe to drive. If the light doesn't turn off, consult with a professional.

Service Vehicle Soon
This is your car's way of saying that it needs to be serviced. This light will turn on after you've traveled a certain amount of miles since your last maintenance check. Typically, this is around every 5,000 miles.

TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System)
If the pressure in your tires is low, you'll see this warning sign. After adding some pressure, the light should turn off. If it remains, have an industry specialist take a look. They'll be able to determine if your tires require more air or need to be replaced.

Slip Indicator
This indicator shows if your vehicle senses that your tires are slipping. To regain traction, other systems in your car have to work harder to maintain stability. It may also be a sign that something is wrong with the TRAC or VSC systems.

Charging System Warning Light
If this symbol appears while you're driving, a fan belt may be broken. There's also a possibility that there's an issue with the charging circuit. In either case, you should stop driving immediately.

Brake System
Your ABS braking system needs to be inspected if this light turns on. You won't be putting yourself at risk if you continue driving, but you should seek assistance promptly.

Open Door Warning Light
This symbol indicates that there's a door open. It can also mean that your trunk is ajar. To turn it off, ensure that each door is fully closed.

Coolant Level Warning
This is one of the more serious warning indicators. When this light appears, it either means that coolant levels are too low or that there's a problem with your sensors. If it's the former, the vehicle can overheat.
