What's New For the 2020 Jeep Renegade?

For 2020, the Renegade doesn't bring any significant changes. The latest version of the first generation Renegade makes more packages and options available on lower trims.

Which Features Are Available for 2020?

Many features found in the upper trims are available for the lower trims. The Jeep Renegade offers four main trim levels: Sport, Latitude, Limited, and Trailhawk. There are three subtrims that add special exterior upgrades to the four main trims: the Upland, Altitude, and High Altitude. The Sport trim is the base and includes a fold-flat front passenger seat, USB port, heated and power-adjustable mirrors, a rearview camera, a 5-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth. If you opt to add more features, there's the Uconnect 7.0 Group, which includes satellite radio, a 7-inch touchscreen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Roof rails, 17-inch wheels, and privacy glass come with the Sport Appearance package.

The Latitude trim extends the features that come with the two packages of the Sport trim: ambient LED lighting, automatic headlights, upgraded cloth upholstery, a second-row USB port, a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Cold Weather package is available with the Latitude trim which includes heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and automatic wipers with de-icers. The Limited trim has more premium features (and includes the Cold Weather Group items) such as 18-inch wheels, keyless ignition and entry, a power-adjustable driver's seat, remote engine start, a 115-volt household-style power outlet, and an upgraded driver's information display.

Trailhawk is an off-roader's dream trim. It has similar offerings to that of the Limited and Latitude, featuring a full-size spare, four-wheel-drive with low-range settings, unique interior, and exterior design accents,17-inch all-terrain tires, tow hooks, a raised suspension, hill descent control, and underbody skid plates.

Featuring Great Performance

The Sport, Latitude, and Limited come standard with the 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. This has a horsepower rating of 180, with a fuel economy of  21 mpg in the city and 29 on the highway. There's a standard 1.3-liter four-cylinder turbo with the Trailhawk. It's rated at 177 hp, with a fuel economy of 22 mpg in the city, and 27 on the highway. The other trims can also get the turbo engine.
