A Variety of Off-Road Features

The 2017 Jeep Wrangler, available now in the Phoenix area, comes in two body styles: the standard two-door Wrangler and the four-door Wrangler Unlimited. Trim levels on both models include the Sport, Sahara and Rubicon, giving shoppers a great deal of available amenities to choose from.

The base Wrangler Sport comes with everything from 16-inch steel wheels, skid plates, two hooks, cloth upholstery and a tumble-forward backseat to an 8-speaker sound system, cruise control, a fold-down windshield and removable doors.

The Wrangler Sahara adds 18-inch alloys, LED foglights, an auto-dimming mirror and keyless entry to the SUV, while the range-topping Rubicon gets special tires, an upgraded transfer case, an electronic front and rear locking differential, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and an electronically disconnecting front sway bar.

Commanding Off-Road Performance

Several 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited reviews have been very impressed with the SUV's 285-hp, 3.6-liter V6 engine that 260 lb.-ft. of torque. A four-wheel drivetrain is standard on the Wrangler, which includes low- and high-range gearing. A six-speed manual transmission with hill start assist comes standard on the Wrangler, though a five-speed automatic with both hill descent control and hill start assist is available as an optional add-on.

Top-Notch Safety Equipment

Standard safety equipment on the 2017 Wrangler include traction and stability control, front airbags and antilock brakes. Choose one of the upper trims and you can add front side airbags, which increases the safety scores on the Wrangler.
