Jeep has recently unveiled the new version of the Wagoneer. This model, not in production since 1991, was very popular in the past, and Jeep has decided to release it to compete in the large, luxury SUV segment. The new Wagoneer is based on the full-size Ram 1500 pickup truck and will offer various powertrain configurations, one of which may be a plug-in hybrid. It's looking like the Wagoneer will be a substantial offering with multiple trim levels and options available, and it's set to reach our showroom next year!

The two main body styles for the Wagoneer will be the traditional Wagoneer and the Grand Wagoneer. The Grand trim level has a longer body, and the interior comes with many high-end inclusions. You get a third row of seating with the Grand Wagoneer, an LED grille on the front of the vehicle, and a lighted nameplate. A panoramic sunroof provides excellent light in the SUV and a superb view.

Powertrain and Performance

Jeep hasn't confirmed or denied their plans for the engine or battery. Jeep has stated recently that they want to provide an electric option for every one of their models soon. They may begin with the Wagoneer. It's expected that the Wagoneer models will also share engines with the Ram 1500. In addition, three 4x4 systems will be available, and there is a four corner Quadra-lift suspension included.

Extra Details

Jeep included many great details in the concept Wagoneer. The roof rail system and headlights on the concept featured teak wood as part of its design. Various 3D elements were incorporated into the 24-inch wheels. The trunk is a clamshell liftgate that provides easy access to ample cargo space in the vehicle's rear. The Grand Wagoneer will boast many screens: a 12.1-inch gauge cluster, a 10.3-inch touchscreen in front of the front passenger, a 12.1-inch center touchscreen that sits above the 10.3-inch display. Oh, and there will be another touchscreen on the second-row console along with a pair of 10.1-inch touchscreens for the second-row passengers.

If you find the Wagoneer interesting, you can get in touch with our team to ensure you receive updates as its arrival date approaches. We'll make sure that you're one of the first people to come in and take it for a test drive once released next year.
