Chrysler Pacifica

Family comes first for the Pacifica and keeping everyone safe is a top priority. The acclaimed minivan will return with several exciting updates that emphasize this, so pay attention moms and dads. For the 2018 model year, both the gas-only and hybrid versions of the Chrysler Pacifica will come standard with the SafetyTec Group, which includes Blind-Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Path Detection and ParkSense Rear Park Assist with Stop.

Learn about each technology below and stay tuned for the arrival of the new 2018 Chrysler Pacifica in Phoenix later this year.

ParkSense Rear Park Assist With Stop
When traveling at low speeds this system can detect stationary objects behind the vehicle using ultrasonic sensors. It warns the driver if a collision appears imminent and can assist with applying brake pressure.

Blind-Spot Monitoring
When changing lanes or being passed by other cars, this feature aids drivers in detecting vehicles that might be overlooked. The radar-based system alerts drivers if there are cars in their blind spot with illuminated icons that are integrated in the outside mirrors.

Rear Cross Path Detection
When backing out of parking spaces and other areas, this system is automatically activated. It alerts drivers with a chime and illuminated icons on the outside mirrors if the system detects a moving object coming toward the vehicle.

The Chrysler Advanced SafetyTec Group is also still available and continues to offer its own long list of technologies, including:

  • Advanced Brake Assist
  • Surround-View Camera
  • Forward Collision Warning Plus
  • Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go
  • LaneSense Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist
  • Rain-sensing windshield wipers
  • Auto High-Beam Headlamp Control
  • ParkSense Front/Rear Park Assist with Stop
  • Parallel and Perpendicular Park Assist
