Jonas – a 15-month-old Great Pyrenees - is in search of more than just a home; he is seeking a family! If you’ve been looking into adopting a dog in the Phoenix area, Jonas may be the perfect fit for you and your family.
This young pup has everything going for him: a great temperament, good looks, great social skills, nice manners and a beautiful coat. Jonas LOVES people, and his eyes light up whenever he sees a child. He is respectful of a child’s size and plays with them appropriately.
Jonas also gets along great with cats, dogs of all sizes and even rabbits. He does not chase birds or challenge fences. He adores going for walks. He is housebroken and certainly lets you know when it is “time.” He is also crate trained, but does not need to be con?ned at all. He is totally non-destructive.
What Jonas needs, however, is a nice, stable family who will give him a forever home. He is of the “Velcro variety” and wants to be near or with his people, though he is not overly pushy about it.
An active, multi-child household, possibly with another dog, would be a delight for Jonas. It would certainly de?ne his idea of family! Please contact Linda at the Arizona Great Pyrenees Association (AZPyrs) if you are interested in adopting this wonderful young dog.
