The original Jeep Grand Wagoneer debuted in 1963 and had a very successful run for the next thirty years. Since then Jeep has used various Wagoneer staples on its other SUVs - including the Jeep Grand Cherokee - but there has yet to be a dedicated Wagoneer model since 1991. And while details are scarce on the new wagon, you can expect that its famous 3-row seating will be back on this brand-new model.
Other new SUVs coming out along with the updated Grand Wagoneer include the new C-segment SUV that is going to replace the Patriot and Compass. The highly anticipated Renegade is also due out next year, while updated models of the Grand Cherokee and Wrangler should be out in late 2015 and 2017, respectively.
