Cats are awesome. Case in point, this little critter who went to sleep on the wing of an ultralight aircraft and inadvertently went for a ride of his life.
The video of the incident has gone viral – as cat videos tend to do. This latest one is a great example of why cats are great, showing a little black and white tabby being accidentally taken for a ride in a small airplane. From the looks of it, the cat was taking a nap on the cozy left wing of the airplane when it was awakened by the sudden burst of wind that comes with flying a few hundred feet off the ground.
The remarkable thing is that he sits calmly during the whole ride, meowing every now and then as he seemingly asks what the heck is going on. It really is an incredible video, which makes me want to see how my cat would do if he ever found himself on the wing of an aircraft midflight. He definitely does not like taking a ride in my new Jeep Cherokee no matter how pretty it is, though an impending vet visit might have more to do with it.
