Holiday Pet Tips
Tip #1. Pets aren’t gifts. At AZPyrs, we feel that adding a new animal to the household during this hectic time of year can be detrimental to both the dog and your holiday season. That’s why we recommend introducing a new pet into the household either before or after your holiday celebrations.
Tip #2. Pay attention to holiday toys and treats. Since our pets are members of our family, many Arizona residents will be giving their pets nice treats and gifts this year. We suggest that you always pay extra attention to these treats and gifts so that you know what’s in them, where they’re made and what other customers are saying.
Tip #3. Keep them safe and warm. While Arizona might not have the types of winters that other parts of the U.S. do, our nights can still be very chilly. That’s why we recommend protecting your pets from the elements by keeping them indoors during especially cold days and nights. Also, make sure that you aren’t using any hazardous decorations or plants, many of which can be poisonous to dogs and cats.
We, at AZPyrs, wish everyone a happy and safe holiday season and a prosperous New Year! Remember - we are just a click away at AZPyrs.com.
