The absolutely adorable Penny came to AZPyrs as a stray from the Maricopa Animal Shelter. She is one of the sweetest pups to come our way, so much so that we've nicknamed her "Precious Penny."
Probably around 2 years old, Penny loves people and lots of attention. She also gets along well with other dogs (she pretty much ignores those of the feline persuasion.) She's house and crate trained, which means she would be perfect for working families.
As with many strays, Penny loves her food and likes to eat in her crate most of the time. She may look thin now, but keep her bowl full and Penny will start gaining weight in no time (she's already gained ten pounds since being in foster care!).
Penny is microchipped and all her shots are up-to-date. She just needs someone to give her a forever home. When we've brought her out to adoption events she's been eager and friendly to everyone she meets.
