In the latest installment of car vs. plane, we get the chance to see what happens when an SRT Viper takes on an F-16 Viper (aka the Fighting Falcon) in the ultimate drag race. The competition recently took place at Luke Air Force Base in Glendale and all the action was caught on film, proving to viewers once and for all which Viper is the fastest. Both the car and the jet put up a good fight, but there was only one winner in the end. Who are you placing your bets on?

The showdown between the Vipers was organized thanks to the Viper Club of America. Captain Chuck Moffett took control of the F-16 fighter jet and VCA national secretary John Canal sat behind the wheel of the SRT Viper. In the video, each machine can be seen bolting down 3,000 feet of runway in an attempt to cross the finish line first and show the world which is truly faster: a jet or a car. We don't want to spoil it for you by telling you which Viper came out on top, so watch the complete video below to find out - you may be surprised!
